How to Be Famous — Self-Made Celebrity Client Agreement & Terms of Service

Last Updated: August 17, 2026

Welcome to The Self-Made Celebrity.

This Client Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your participation in The Self-Made Celebrity (“SMC”), provided by Abundant Artist Coaching, LLC, doing business as How to Be Famous with Whitney Uland (“How to Be Famous,” “HTBF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in SMC, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.

1. The Self-Made Celebrity Program

SMC is a six-month coaching and strategy program designed to help clients develop their Celebrity Energy, strengthen their visibility, and implement a personalized strategy around their goals.

During your six-month program term, SMC currently includes:

  • A personalized Fame Audit and prioritized strategic roadmap;

  • Core Celebrity Energy training and Self-Made Celebrity training materials;

  • Approximately 12 live coaching, strategy, implementation, and guest calls per month, or approximately 72 calls over six months, subject to reasonable scheduling changes;

  • Celebrity Energy and mindset coaching with Whitney Uland and/or certified Celebrity Avenger coaches;

  • Social-media and visibility strategy coaching;

  • Whitney-hosted coaching calls;

  • Additional expert, producer, guest, and/or networking calls;

  • Written coaching and support through the private client portal;

  • Access to applicable training and replay libraries;

  • Access to the private SMC community; and

  • Accountability, feedback, and implementation support based on your individualized goals and Fame Audit.

Exact call dates, coaches, guests, topics, scheduling, and program components may change when reasonably necessary. Comparable support may be substituted where appropriate.

Unless expressly included in your specific enrollment agreement, SMC is a coaching and strategy program, not a done-for-you service. We provide coaching, feedback, strategy, direction, accountability, and support. You remain responsible for implementing the strategy and completing the work in your business, brand, content, career, or creative practice.

Any retreat, in-person event, or special experience is included only when expressly stated in the offer applicable to your specific cohort. Dates, locations, availability, and details are cohort-specific and should not be assumed unless confirmed in writing.

2. Your Fame Audit and Goal

SMC begins with foundational Celebrity Energy training and a personalized Fame Audit.

The Fame Audit evaluates relevant parts of your visibility and conversion ecosystem, which may include your social profiles, messaging, content themes, visuals, calls to action, offers, website or sales pages, funnels, and buyer journey.

Based on the materials you submit, your Creator Vision, and our professional assessment, you and Whitney and/or the How to Be Famous team will establish an appropriate, meaningful, and reasonably achievable goal for your six-month SMC term.

The goal must be mutually established. The Goal-Hitting Guarantee described below applies only to the qualifying goal established through this process.

3. Goal-Hitting Guarantee

SMC includes a Goal-Hitting Guarantee for eligible clients.

Our commitment is simple: if you actively participate in the program, complete the work reasonably required of you, and do not achieve the qualifying goal established through your Fame Audit and coaching process within your initial six-month term, you may remain in SMC without an additional program fee until you achieve that goal, subject to the participation requirements below.

This is not a money-back guarantee and does not entitle you to a refund.

To remain eligible for the Goal-Hitting Guarantee, you must participate actively and in good faith throughout the program. As a general benchmark, active participation means engaging with SMC support during at least 20 of the approximately 24 weeks of your initial six-month term and making reasonable efforts to implement the strategy, feedback, assignments, and corrective actions provided.

If the How to Be Famous team reasonably determines that you are behind the agreed-upon target or that additional support or implementation is needed, continued eligibility may require you to engage with available support at least twice per week and to take reasonable, good-faith corrective action recommended by the team.

Eligibility is based on meaningful participation and implementation, not merely maintaining access to the program.

The guarantee does not apply where achievement of the goal becomes impossible or materially impaired because of circumstances outside How to Be Famous’s reasonable control, your failure to participate or implement, material changes you make to the agreed goal or strategy without coordination with the team, or circumstances requiring a result controlled by an independent third party.

How to Be Famous may reasonably evaluate participation and eligibility based on program records and the circumstances of the individual client.

The Goal-Hitting Guarantee is a commitment to continued coaching and program support. It is not a guarantee of earnings, celebrity status, follower counts, media coverage, virality, employment, casting, representation, contracts, awards, or any other specific result unless that specific result has expressly been accepted in writing as the qualifying goal.

4. Client Responsibilities

SMC works through active participation.

You agree to:

  • Complete requested intake materials and provide information reasonably necessary for your Fame Audit and coaching;

  • Attend or otherwise engage with coaching and support consistently;

  • Make reasonable, good-faith efforts to implement the strategy and feedback provided;

  • Communicate when you are stuck, falling behind, or need support;

  • Treat coaches, team members, guests, and other clients respectfully;

  • Protect the confidentiality and privacy of other members; and

  • Maintain accurate payment and contact information.

Your payment obligations are not conditioned on attendance. Choosing not to attend calls, use the portal, complete training, submit work, or otherwise participate does not cancel your enrollment or remaining payment obligations.

5. Investment and Payment

Your exact investment and payment schedule will be stated at enrollment, on your checkout/order form, invoice, or written enrollment confirmation.

Current standard SMC payment options are:

  • $5,000 paid in full;

  • 3 payments of $2,000, for a total investment of $6,000; or

  • 6 payments of $1,200, for a total investment of $7,200.

If you select a payment plan, you are purchasing the full program and agreeing to pay the full payment-plan amount. A payment plan is not a month-to-month membership and does not allow cancellation of remaining payments simply because you stop participating.

If you previously purchased an eligible Fame Audit or other offer carrying an expressly stated SMC credit, that credit will be applied according to the terms communicated with that purchase. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable unless otherwise required by law.

You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method provided according to your selected payment schedule.

You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. We are not responsible for overdraft fees, insufficient-funds fees, over-limit fees, or other charges imposed by your financial institution.

If a scheduled payment fails, we may temporarily suspend access while we contact you and attempt to resolve the outstanding balance. Unpaid balances may be pursued through lawful collection methods.

Questions or concerns about billing should be directed to support@howtobefamous.org so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve them.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Except where otherwise expressly stated in writing or required by applicable law, all sales are final and payments are non-refundable.

Enrollment in SMC represents a commitment to the full program term and investment. If you choose to stop participating before your six-month term ends, any unpaid balance under your selected payment plan remains due.

The Goal-Hitting Guarantee described in this Agreement provides eligible clients with continued program support rather than a refund.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.

7. Results and Earnings Disclaimer

How to Be Famous provides education, coaching, strategy, feedback, accountability, and support. Your results depend on many factors, including your starting point, work, decisions, implementation, consistency, skill, market, audience, industry, timing, and circumstances outside our control.

Except for the limited Goal-Hitting Guarantee expressly described in Section 3, we do not guarantee any particular business, financial, career, audience, visibility, media, social-media, or personal result.

Examples, testimonials, case studies, client wins, and references to past results are illustrations of what particular clients have experienced. They are not promises or representations that you will achieve the same or similar results.

Nothing provided through SMC constitutes legal, medical, mental-health, accounting, investment, or financial advice. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice where necessary.

8. Intellectual Property and Program Materials

All SMC curriculum, videos, recordings, frameworks, worksheets, written materials, methodologies, prompts, training resources, call recordings, portal content, and other materials provided by How to Be Famous are owned by or licensed to How to Be Famous and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your enrollment gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use those materials for your own individual use.

You may not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, teach, sublicense, share, upload, or commercially exploit HTBF program materials without our prior written permission.

You may not share your login credentials, protected links, recordings, portal access, or paid materials with another person.

You retain ownership of your own pre-existing business, brand, content, intellectual property, and materials that you submit to us.

9. Confidentiality and Community Privacy

SMC is intended to be a space where clients can discuss their businesses, creative work, goals, fears, strategies, and experiences candidly.

You agree not to disclose confidential or private information shared by another client, including another person's participation in the program, without that person's permission.

You may discuss your own experience in SMC, but you may not disclose another member's private information, business information, personal circumstances, unpublished work, or confidential discussions.

A serious or repeated violation of another client's privacy may result in removal from the program without refund.

10. Coaching Calls and Recordings

Group coaching calls, trainings, workshops, and other program sessions may be recorded for program delivery, replay access, training, quality assurance, and internal business purposes.

By participating in a recorded group session, you understand that your name, voice, image, comments, or contributions may appear in the recording made available to other authorized program participants.

We will not use a client testimonial or identifiable client story in public marketing solely because the client participated in a program call. Public promotional use of testimonials, photographs, or recordings may be subject to a separate release or other applicable permission.

If you do not wish to appear visually in a group recording, you may keep your camera off where the platform and session format permit.

11. Conduct and Removal

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where a client materially violates this Agreement or engages in conduct that threatens the safety, privacy, integrity, or operation of the program.

Examples include harassment, threats, unlawful conduct, unauthorized distribution of program materials, sharing access credentials, serious violations of another member's privacy, or disruptive behavior that materially interferes with the program.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue before termination. Serious conduct may warrant immediate removal.

Removal for a material breach does not automatically eliminate amounts already owed under an agreed payment plan, subject to applicable law.

12. Events and Retreats

Some HTBF offers or specific cohorts may include an in-person event or retreat. An event or retreat is included only if it is expressly identified as part of your enrollment.

Dates, venues, schedules, speakers, activities, and other details may change because of availability, safety, travel conditions, production needs, force majeure, or other reasonable circumstances.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, clients are responsible for their own transportation, airfare, lodging, incidental expenses, and other personal travel costs.

If an included event must be materially changed, postponed, relocated, or canceled, How to Be Famous will communicate the applicable alternative, replacement experience, credit, or other remedy available under the circumstances and applicable law.

13. Third-Party Platforms and Services

We may use third-party platforms to deliver calls, community access, payments, course materials, AI-supported resources, email communications, or other portions of the program.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms or services. Where reasonably possible, we will work to provide an alternative if a third-party interruption materially affects program delivery.

14. Relationship of the Parties

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary, or similar relationship between you and How to Be Famous.

You remain solely responsible for your business, career, creative, financial, and professional decisions and for actions you take based on coaching or educational information.

Neither party may create obligations on behalf of the other without written authorization.

15. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your enrollment or rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent.

How to Be Famous may assign its rights or obligations under this Agreement as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of substantially all relevant assets, or other lawful business transfer.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party will be considered in breach for a delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond that party's reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, war, government action, widespread internet or technology failures, labor disruptions, public-health emergencies, or similar events.

Where such an event affects program delivery, How to Be Famous may reasonably reschedule, modify, extend, or substitute affected services.

Nothing in this section eliminates payment obligations for services already delivered or otherwise due except where required by applicable law.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from this Agreement.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

18. Governing Law

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

19. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

A party's failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

20. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with your applicable order form, checkout terms, invoice, enrollment confirmation, and any written addendum specifically applicable to your purchase, constitutes the agreement governing your enrollment.

If there is a conflict concerning your specific price, payment schedule, program term, or cohort-specific inclusions, the written terms presented to you at enrollment control for those specific items.

No verbal statement modifies this Agreement unless confirmed in writing by How to Be Famous.

21. Changes to Program Delivery

Because coaching programs evolve, How to Be Famous may make reasonable changes to schedules, call formats, coaches, technology, curriculum organization, guest experts, or delivery methods during your term.

Any such changes will be made in good faith and will not intentionally eliminate the core value of the program you purchased.

22. Questions and Support

Questions regarding your enrollment, payments, program access, these Terms, or other support matters may be directed to:

support@howtobefamous.org
